The Accolade and Best Shorts Competitions recently announced new winners including six total awards for The Raggs musical preschool series. Raggs was presented a prestigious Award of Excellence Accolade in the category of Children’s/Family TV series for the overall Raggs TV series in English and Spanish and five Best Shorts statues including three Awards of Excellence and two Awards of Merit in categories of webisodes, original music and music videos. Best Shorts Awards of Excellence included the original song “Little Bit of Love” and three music videos: “Appreciating the Library”, “Water Makes the Whole Thing Flow” and “Numbers are Easy 1 – 2 – 3”. Additionally, Raggs was recognized with the Award of Merit for the original song “Jungle Zoo”.

Raggs is a live action and animated musical preschool television series originally produced from 2006‐2009 in Australia, with additional U.S. production in English and Spanish in 2012-2013. The entertaining and educational series is based on the original characters created by Toni Steedman, a Charlotte, advertising executive, for her then six-year-old daughter.
